Rebecca + Edo got married at the Harvard Club in New York City. What a wonderful venue for a wedding, rich with history! I had a great day documenting their wedding and wandering around the city snapping pics of these two! It was also awesome to witness their first dance which was a traditional Israeli folk dance, so cool! Thanks for having me along, and a big congratulations to you both!
Holly + Alonso had themselves a destination wedding. Their destination just happened to be in NYC, so for me, not so much a destination wedding. Actually, it was an elopement of sorts. There were no wedding guests. They made the trek all the way from Australia to tie the knot here in NYC. It was exactly the type of low key Tuesday wedding with no guests, and where the bride and groom got ready together before getting married in Central Park wedding I had imagined it would be. I loved every minute of hanging out with these two easy going people. Both Holly and Alonso were real troopers braving the early spring cold day. Holly is without a doubt a fearless bride! Taking her shoes off and climbing up some really steep rocks without a jacket in the cold and wind, and especially being from the warmer climate of Australia too! Congratulations guys!

March can be a very tricky month to plan a wedding here in New Jersey! It could be sunny and warm with tulips popping up, OR it can be cold and snowing! Today, Angela and Allen got the latter for their wedding day. Not to worry though, we totally rocked the snow! While we were confined for the most part to being indoors, lucky for me, the hotel they were getting ready at had some cool spots I could utilize. We also braved the snow and cold for a few shots outside as well. Thank you Angela! This was such a great wedding to officially kick off my 2013 wedding season! Congratulations Angela + Allen, I had a blast spending the day with you both! Please note: there is a photo of Angela in the Women’s bathroom. Angela invited me in to get a funny shot. We made sure no other women were in the bathroom at the time and had someone guarding the door as well.

What wedding in Guatemala is complete without a hike up an active volcano the day after??? This was SUCH an amazing experience! I loved my time in Guatemala, and hope to get back there some day. Thank you so much Kate + Ryan for including me on your mind blowing wedding!

Part three of my Guatemalan adventure consist of photographs taken on Kate + Ryan’s wedding day. Oops, except for the second photo which was actually take at the rehearsal dinner the night before. I loved the entire vibe of Kate and Ryan’s wedding! Everything! Just check out the photos and see what you think.

While my friend David M and I were in Guatemala shooting Kate and Ryan’s wedding, we were both blown away by our surroundings in the town of Antigua. So much so, that we we asked some of the wedding guests if they were interested in doing some free impromptu couples’ sessions. We found 2 wonderful couples who were up for it. We spent a little time with both Jenny + Jamie and then with Anni + Chris. Thanks for indulging us guys, you were all so awesome!

This blog post is LONG overdue! A little over two years ago, I had the distinct pleasure of traveling to Guatemala with my friend David M to photograph Kate + Ryan’s wedding. During my down time I was able to stroll around the city of Antigua and see what I could find. I love this city! SO colorful, the food was amazing, and the people so interesting. One day I will get back here, I just know it. I will follow up with some wedding guest impromptu “couple sessions”, Kate and Ryan’s wedding day, and then an epic hike up an active volcano! For now, here are a few snaps from around the city of Antigua.

Aaaah…good times! So many awesome memories and beautiful work here. I remember when you were patiently waiting to take the shot of the street lamp shadow and the red wall – when the woman was walking into the frame you said “I think I clicked too soon”… and then it turned out to be just perfect. Hope to do this again one day!
