Gabby + James

Ever since I photographed Gabby and James’ engagement session in Princeton last year I have been really looking forward to shooting their wedding! I was not let down! Their ceremony took place at the amazing Chapel on Princeton campus, where both Gabby and James are alumnae. Afterward, we roamed around the campus getting some great shots of Gabby, James and their crew! I just love photographing there! And I just have to mention the best best man I have ever seen, John! If anyone is looking for a best man, John does an EXCELLENT job of it, just sayin’! Anyway, after photos we headed over to the Princeton Marriott for a super fun reception! Thank you Gabby and James for letting me take part in your day of days and I hope you have an absolute BLAST on your 40 day honeymoon! Yes, you read that right, 40 days, visiting New Zealand, Australia, and Tahiti!

I might just be the TV wedding whisperer! Yep, that’s a bride and groom on the ‘ole boob tube! Can anyone guess what show that is?
I love this shot of Gabby’s dad reviewing his speech earlier in the day.
I caught this shot right before Gabby was about to walk down the aisle with her dad. I love it!
I love how the ring barer is the only person not checking out Gabby and her dad about to come down the aisle. I think he was bored, or maybe just tired?
I told you he was bored…or just tired!
Right after James got off the phone I was going to set up a funny shot of James and Gabby on this thing, but that’s when the security guard came out and put the kibosh on that!
I love the look of concentration on James’ face as he gets a bug out of Gabby’s dress. Her expression should clue you in on her feelings towards bugs, or at least bugs in her wedding dress at least. As I told Gabbby, this happens all the time. So future brides, accept that this will most likely happen at some point in the day!
They wanted to practice their first dance before the reception so I told them to do it here!
Note to future brides: If you can request that anyone giving a speech be directed to stand either behind your table or even better, to the right or left of it, and NOT on the other side of the reception, that would be great. I like to include them in these types of shots as a reference. Thanks!
