This was such an INCREDIBLE wedding! Miriam and Han did a phenomenal job planning their wedding and all their hard work really paid off! After photographing their engagement session a few months ago I already knew going in to today that they had great chemistry and a way of making each other laugh that would make my job easy. I LOVED Miriam’s hot pink wedding shoes too! She had to have them dyed hot pink which wasn’t that big of a deal, the problem was finding hot pink socks for Han to wear. Well, let’s just say Han took one for the team today. Not because they were hot pink, but because the only hot pink socks they could find had Hello Kitty on them! We need more men like Han this world! We had a great photo session in DUMBO, Brooklyn which is right around where the Manhattan Bridge and Brooklyn Bridge enter Brooklyn. Once again, here was a couple who gave me plenty of time with them, and once again, I really think it shows in the images we got. Thank you so much for that guys, you rock! Then we headed over to the ceremony/reception venue which was AMAZING! Miriam and Han chose Stage 6 at Steiner Studios which is such a great space with awesome views on their rooftop patio! The people from Abigail Kirsch Catering did an outstanding job with the space and the food too, thanks Eric! I would also like to thank my good friend Walter van Dusen for helping me out with today’s coverage. Congratulations Miriam and Han, think of me when you are lounging around in Saint Lucia!
I call this one “Being Prepared for Luck to Happen”. I had this shot set up and was just waiting and hoping for something cool to come on TV, and wouldn’t you know it, it did! I love it when a plan comes together!

I love when the wind kicks up at just the right time!

My view…

Walter’s view…

It may look like two separate photos but it isn’t. This is a Saint Lucia warm up for Miriam and Han!

I loved how the sun was shining on Miriam and Han during the ceremony.

Goody bags for the kids are always a great idea!
