Lee + Steven

Lee and Steve’s wedding was a photography marathon!!!  I went the distance too! My day started over with Lee where she was getting ready. I was greeted by Lee and a bunch of home made rice krispie treats! Lee, like any other good blog stalker, knows that I fuel up on wedding day with rice krispie treats and gatorade! Yay Lee! I also got to see my friend Leyda from Rockmelon (the videographers). I always love working alongside them! Anyway, Lee and Steve had a fabulous day in Tribeca NYC for their wedding. Everything took place at the awesome Tribeca Rooftop. We had lots of fun roaming the streets looking for photo spots. Steve even had a few ideas of his own! I had a blast photographing your wedding guys, and I put a lot of effort into this blog post so I really hope you enjoy it! Congratulations, and relax in Bora Bora!

So this photo might need some explaining! See, Steve is a New York Magazine FANATIC. He already has a subscription, but he asked one of the groomsmen to pick up 2 copies from the newsstand for him. So, this is the current issue’s cover, and I was glad I could work both that and all four rings into one shot!
Not twins, but they are indeed sisters!
I loved Lee and Steve’s first looks!
So, here is Steve’s brain child! In addition to New York magazine, Steve also has an affinity for construction vehicles. His favorite: the Crane! He said the only thing better than a crane is another crane putting together the other crane!
Back to Tribeca Rooftop for the Ketubah signing.
This guy is not her dad…but that’s not why she’s crying!
The reception space looked incredible with all of these hanging tea lights all over the place!

At the end of the night I took a bunch of “reject” photos from the photo booth and ,with some help, had them thrown in front of Lee and Steve. This was the first attempt out of four, and my favorite.

Lee + Steve | Teaser

Here is a teaser shot from Lee and Steve’s wedding, which I photographed on Saturday. They had a photo booth during the reception, so I decided to gather up all the “reject” photos laying around and have them tossed into the air in front of Lee and Steve. This was the first attempt out of four, and my favorite! Practically the last shot of the night too.  More to come later in the week, stay tuned!

Magick + Chris

Wow, what an amazing wedding this past Saturday! I had the pleasure of photographing Magick and Chris’ wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club down near Long Beach Island. This place is incredible! It was hands down the largest bridal suite I have ever seen! Magick was beaming all day and was so easy to photograph! Chris on the other hand, took a little longer to warm up, but he eventually got there! We had the most beautiful day on the water, although there was something about how the wind was blowing in a certain direction that brought tons of biting gnats! Magick and Chris grinned and bared it like troopers! Other than gnat, everything else was perfect! Sorry guys, I just couldn’t resist! Congratulations you two, and enjoy that honeymoon in St. Lucia!

I asked Magick to hop up on the bed, and this was the first thing she did!
Four generations here folks!
Just before Magick went down the aisle, something was funny!
This is a what Magick and Chris got married under.
The bridesmaids get in on the act!
This was a friend of Magick’s who got up and sang a song for Magick and Chris as they danced.
