Kim + Mike

I can not tell a lie, Kim and Mike’s wedding was on a hot day! We managed to do what we could outside, but eventually we were defeated by the heat! But heat aside, Kim and Mike still had an amazing day surrounded by good friends and family to help them celebrate. I had a great time hanging out with you guys, and thank you so much for the opportunity to document your wedding for you! Congratulations!

nadya - great shots! you get the best reception shots ever. I need to try and be more creative at this time, sometimes it can get soo boring to keep taking reception shots, but not if you can capture them like this!

Angela Principato - Beautiful pictures xoxo

Shannon + Nick | Teasers

Yes, more teasers! I’m sorry for all the teasers blog fans, July has been unusually busy for me. The good news is that I have a little time off in August where I hope to catch up on blogging. I have TONS of stuff to show, so hang in there! For now though, check out a few teasers from Shannon + Nick’s SCORCHING hot wedding this past Saturday. I must say, even through knee buckling heat, and neck biting bugs, neither of them complained one iota! I LOVE my couples, thanks guys! True troopers!

Krystyna + Chris

Not too long ago I blogged Krystyna + Chris’ wedding photos. Well, they also decided to do a day after session as well. It’s kind of like an engagement session of sorts, except you are married and wearing much fancier clothes (wedding attire). I don’t do too many of these, but it’s one of my favorite types of photo shoots because we don’t have any time constraints like we do on the wedding day. Not to mention we have a choice on shooting location and the exact time of day we want to do it! Win win! We spent half the day in Pompton Lakes doing some more “hardscape” photos and then traveled down the road from my house here in Califon to a local park. I had such an awesome time hanging out with Krystyna and Chris again, and I am really proud of this set of images! I wish more bride’s and groom’s wanted to do this sort of thing!

I first met up with Krystyna and Chris at a local diner that they frequent.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedWhile we were photographing at the park there were two equestrians who occasionally gallop by!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedKrystyna knew that at the end of the session, she wanted to do something involving water. I’d say this fit the bill!undefinedYep, that’s Chris’ reflection in Krystyna’s eye!undefinedundefined

Krystyna - These photographs are everything I hoped for and more. I can’t wait to see all of them! love love love!

NYC Faces Makeup Artist Anni Bruno - Um…..her makeup is flawless. Who was the artist?

Petronella - Todd, you amaze me. That reflection shot is AMAZING! beautiful, fun couple

Serge Gree - Awesome shots!!!

Kristen - These are awesome! Totally amazing shots.

KrisD Mauga - AWE!!!! just insanely awesome!!!!!!

Zoie - These are absolutely stunning. The colors, the focus, the lighting… totally out of this world. Fantastic locations. Great composition on the shot of Krystyna with the twisted ladder — love it. Love your work!

Andy - WOW! The close up eye reflection takes the cake! Its rare to fund something truly original in wedding photography. Congratulations!

Mentoring Session with Dean | Danielle + John photos

I had the pleasure of mentoring fellow photographer Dean a few weeks ago. Dean approached me looking to shake up the way he photographed weddings. We spent some time talking a little about his business, and critiquing some of his work. Then we headed out with one of my future wedding clients, Danielle and John, who of course, were so much fun to work with, thanks guys! I showed Dean how I approach a shoot overall, and also my thought process while looking for and setting up specific shots. Thanks Dean, I hope you really turn the corner with your photography! Here are a few shots from our session together.

nadya - awesome! Lucky Dean…love the one of them in shiloutte thats an awesome shot!!

Lee - Todd you are sooo good, I keep thinking that you’ve hit your peak, that your photos can’t get any better and then you post the next wedding and the pictures are fabulous and better than the last. Keep up the great work.
