Two quick teasers from Krystyna and Chris’ wedding on Saturday, and one from Danielle + John’s “faux” e-session, which was really part of a mentoring session I did with fellow photographer Dean.

Erlene (pronounced like Merlin except without the M) and Anthony got married at Tappan Hill Mansion in NY. Nothing really out of the ordinary about that, but I thought it was a strange coincidence that I have never photographed there before and then I photographed Erlene and Anthony’s wedding there on Friday night, and guess where my wedding was on Saturday night? Yep, Tappan Hill Mansion. Freaky! Erlene and Anthony had a great day for their wedding! I loved the fact that they were up for trekking over to some large heavy duty construction equipment for a few photos too! Almost all my couples are up for just about anything! Yay for me, yay for them! It was a fun filled day and Erlene and Anthony were a dream to work with, thank you guys, and congratulations to you both!

  • Kristi Odom - Todd, these are awesome! Yet again, you amaze me!

I’m so incredibly honored to have been asked to speak at the 2011 Foundation Conference this coming November in New Orleans. The lineup of speakers is amazing, and although this will be my first time going to the conference myself, I have a good feeling that they will be doing things a little differently. I love this quote from Ed Atrero about a past conference;

It’s a chance to hang and talk shop with the badasses of our industry. R.W.A. Rockstars Without Attitude. There’s no BS peddling of products by the speakers. Presenters are slangin the straight dope.

  • Christine - CONGRATULATIONS! You deserve this honor!!!!!!!!!!!

I had photographed Kayla’s Bat Mitzvah the other week, and instead of doing a more traditional Temple photo session, the Derman’s decided to do a much more informal (real) session at their house. I LOVED it! We just hung out at their house for a few hours and let them be themselves. Of course I had to set up  a few shots but I think the overall result is SO much more THEM than any photographs taken of them all dressed up in a Temple. Guys, I seriously enjoyed hanging out with the whole clan, you guys are an AWESOME family!!!!

  • Michelle Laffler-Oves - Excellent love it

  • KrisD Mauga - Rocked it again!!!!!

  • Stephen Govel - dude, you are incredible!

  • amber montgomery - love love love11! lucky family

  • Autumn Pittelli - this has got to be my favorite family portrait session of all time. FAN-TAS-TIC. So good, you just split a word in three.

  • Michelle Edgerton - Wow, these are so great! I love that last picture, what a cool family portrait. So much personality and fun and so much interest. LOVE!!!!!
