I’ve been dying to show you guys this wedding, and I kind of don’t even know where to begin right now! I suppose from the beginning is a good place huh!? I distinctly remember meeting with Kalpana and Jim at my house well over a year ago. They seemed so cute, fun and laid back, kind of like me, hehe. Right after they had left, I had to go out and run an errand. As I was getting into my car, I could see Kalpana and Jim down the street, hugging pretty intensely outside of their car before getting in. I had a hunch that I would be photographing their wedding! About a year ago, when I was doing a mentoring session with another photographer, Kalpana and Jim were our models. Soon after spending more time with them, and after snapping one of my all time favorite couples’ photos ever, I KNEW their wedding was going to be outrageously awesome! Fast forward another year and we arrive at their big long awesome day! I think this may have been a record for me as far as consecutive hours photographing a wedding. I think it was over 15 hours! I’m also pretty sure this is the longest blog entry (83 photos) for a single day wedding too! So, before scrolling onward, please make sure you have a good amount of time to truly take in and appreciate Kalpana + Jim’s amazing day, there are LOTS of photos! We had a really good weather day too, the sun was out, and there were some nice clouds out and about. Although it was very windy and a bit chilly, Kalpana and Jim braved it all for some AWEZUM photographs! Thanks guys! I had such a great time documenting their day! The Indian ceremony was a first for me believe it or not, and I was loving it too! Congratulations Kalapan and Jim, and thank you for allowing me to capture the festivities.

  • Brian Holden - Just amazing… utterly incredible.

are a lot of those images shot with 70-200mm?

  • Victor Herrera - Magic, Magic

  • Todd Laffler - Thanks Brian…ummm I don’t know really, with the exception of the Indian ceremony photos, those were all shot with either the 70-200 or my 24mm prime. Also, most of the reception is shot with either my 85mm prime or my 16-35mm.

What a beautiful shot from the top, and love the merging of colors! The engineer in me has also rethought how to better twirl that skirt.

  • Rosemary Spellacy - Andrea, These pictures are beautiful, as was the entire event. Can’t wait to see some more of the photos. Again, Congraualtions!

Yet another great couple and wedding I had the pleasure of photographing a few weeks ago. I had already met Melissa and Jamie a few months ago when we did their engagement session, so I had the heads up on how easy they were going to be to work with. I mean any couple that puts up with me asking them to repeatedly toss a ginormous amount of leaves over their heads, and then even get buried by leaves with just their eyes peering out HAS to be easy to work with right!? Check and mark! We had a great day for their wedding and it was great to see them relax and party with all of their family and friends! Congratulations guys!

  • Melissa - I LOVE them!…Todd, you ROCK! 🙂

  • Angela Mum Laffler - Wonderful pics Todd. All so good I can’t pick out a favourite. And yes, that is the correct spelling when you live in England!

  • Beth - The wedding was awesome and the pictures are out of this world. You must be very pleased!

  • EILEEN LOPINA - I absolutely LOVE the pictures! Kudos to the photographer! I adore the pictures of my ring bearer son and I got a kick out of the bridal party pic/video where it zooms in up close and personal on my face! Haha! It was definitely a great wedding celebration and the pictures totally prove it!

  • Michelle R - Todd, YOU are awesome!! I LOVE THESE!!

  • todd hunter mcgaw - dude.. that road pic with the 2 arrows just kicked me in the junk! SHAZAMM! your work is awesome todd..

I know I’ve said it before and I will probably say it again… almost ad nauseam, but I just love my clients! Don’t blame me, blame them! Geri and Steve are no exception. They have to be the funnest pair of lawyers I’ve ever seen. If you need any legal issues taken care of go see one of them. I have no idea if they are any good or not, but what I do know is that they are FUN! I mean anyone who quotes “Yiddish with Dick and Jane” in their vows HAS to have a sense of humor. We had a glorious, albeit chilly, day at the Crystal Springs Resort here in New Jersey. Geri was the ultimate trooper though, baring the cold for a few photos! What a party they threw, let me tell you! And if there are any photos of Geri where she ISN’T smiling, laughing or crying, it was because I had to tell her not to for  just a minute! Congratulations guys!
